Career
Domestic Club Football
Climax’s first professional football deal was with Salgaocar Football Club, which he signed when he was 19 years old in 1998. He departed the club in 2004 and joined East Bengal Club.
He only lasted at East Bengal Club for a year before moving to Dempo Club. Lawrence is still a member of the Dempo Club, where he has helped them win a lot of football championships and series.

Key Attributes
Lawrence is a fierce defensive midfielder in football, but he is also known for being a patient and modest player.
Climax had to wait on the substitution bench at Salgaocar Sports Club, his first club, for a long time, according to Franky Barreto, a senior Indian football player from Goa.
Despite this, Barreto claims that he was never seen complaining at coaches and was always modest and appreciative to them, learning from other players when they were on the field.
Lawrence owes a debt of gratitude to Marcus Pacheco, his Salgaocar Club coach, who he credits with nurturing the hidden talent within him.
He has also been doing well with Dempo Club, contributing to their most recent success in the National Football League (NFL) season and the first season of the I League, allowing them to qualify for the AFC Champions League 2009 Group Stage. In November 2009, the League was held in Tokyo’s National Stadium.

International Football
Climax Lawrence was asked to join the Indian National Football team by Stephen Constantine, the squad’s coach, in the year 2002.
Since then, he has played for the Indian Football team on a regular basis and has represented them in a number of tournaments and matches.
Climax has the record of scoring the game-winning goal against Afghanistan in the 91st minute of an AFC Challenge Cup encounter in July 2008. He scored the game-winning goal in India’s 1-0 triumph over Afghanistan.
